Bureau just won a
BOO project to build, own and
operate a 200MWH power plant in the eastern of Baghdad. The
execution of the project will start soon
· Executing
a project to install and erect a GE 6B 40MW power station
in the south of Iraq. This project includes install of all the
parts, as well as modify the ventilation unit to suit the
weather of the area. The project is in its' final stages
·
Executing a one year contract (since August 2004) with the
Ministry of Electricity to operate and maintain 26 generating
sites all over Iraq with the total capacity of 260 MWH. Each
site consists of 8 X 1.25 MW SDMO generators.
The Operation Control Room is located at our head office in
Baghdad. Using multiple shift working 24x7 (even in public
holidays) to monitor the production of all 26 sites. This
giving a firm grip on electrical power production and enable us
(using specialized software) to handle any hick up efficiently.

In the process of winning another 300MW contract.
· Executing more than 15 projects for the
Electrical Power Distribution Network in the city of
Baghdad. All these projects are part of the campaign to rebuild
Iraq, and are subsidised by USA government and its
representative in Iraq the Project Contracting Office (PCO).
These projects can be classified as;

Projects involve the digging, laying and testing of high
tension (33KV) power lines. these projects require us to
providing Engineering Services, Labor, Supervision, Equipment
and
Tools.

Projects that involve the Supplying, Installation, and Testing
11KV underground feeder cables. These projects requirs us to providing
Engineering Services, Labor, Supervision, Equipment and Tools.

Projects that involve the Erection and Wiring 33KV overhead feeders. The work
consists of supplying and erecting 17m towers and more than 230
poles of 12m each.

Projects that involve the implementation of low voltage distribution
overhead network. Four of these projects are outside Baghdad.
These projects required provide Planning, Engineering Services, Labor,
Supervision, Equipment and Tools.

Involved in the maintenance of Khor AlZubair power station
(2X50MWH).
